This was one of our favorite jobs.
It's a very exciting experience to take a small, dated kitchen (this one was a '70s 10x10' if that) and expand it (yes, that means knocking down walls--very fun for Scott).
This kitchen and separate breakfast nook/back door foyer became one classy, user-friendly space with a fabulous cook/prep space, extra large island,
breakfast nook and wet bar.
Take the tour:
Here, we have Scott installing oak cabinets.
One of our favorite things about this job:
Our client priced custom cabinets for this space before hiring us.
The cost for just the cabinets was about the price client ended up paying
us for this entire renovation (including construction, cabinets,
appliances, granite, etc!!!) We strike a mean bargain :)
Moral of the story: we can save you money.
Cabinets and island take shape.
Note: these are custom cabinets, too. Scott created
several special cabinets to fit certain appliances, etc.
Now you can see the lay-out. Notice wall on left:
that used to be the original wall.
Gone, baby, gone.
We like open spaces.
BEFORE & AFTER!
This kitchen got a lot of lighting:
recessed (can) lights, 2 pendants over island,
plus over and under cabinet lighting.
The below cabinets were custom made to house
appliances: double oven (right),
microwave and coffeemaker (left)
The original breakfast nook is now open to kitchen.
We bar with plenty of storage is available to guests.
Wet bar with wine cooler and sink.
Another Casa Creation Renovation complete!
That is really an amazing kitchen renovation. I love the way it all came together. The colors are great.
