The only thing Scott loves more than a pergola
is multiple pergolas!!!
And that's just what this cute little ranch house got :)

A rotten deck and peeling paint
made this backyard space feel like a bit of an eye-sore.
Concrete makes everything cleaner,
and it lasts longer too!
Up go the posts and beams!
A rich, brown solid stain protects the wood
and completes the look.
But a fresh coat of paint on the house makes
it look AMAZING!!!
and a gravel firepit and fresh sod seal the deal.
BUT......
Why stop at ONE
when you can have TWO?!!!
Pergolas, that is.

The process was a little taxing,
but well worth the effort!
First, design a lay-out and figure out
where the new gable extension will go:
Install posts:
Add a little snow to keep things interesting.
And finally, it all comes together!
Who doesn't love a shady front porch?!
Just sit back and relax :)
