Outdoor Additions

Updating outdoor spaces is one way to increase "living" square footage without extensive building costs. Especially if you live in a moderate climate, like Mississippi. Which we do. Thus we like to spend time outside :)

At this very cool lakehouse getaway, the request

was for a comfortable screened-in porch with a view.

 

This is the perfect place to stop and "set awhile" with a cool drink,

 a good friend or a good read. Can't take credit for the view:

Using an existing covered patio, we added screen walls and doors

that keep the bugs out without blocking the view.

 The front stoop is also a great place to gather and admire the view!

 With a few updates, this outdoor space is now ready for a crowd.
